FSG URGES FARMERS TO GO FOR SUPERIOR FERTILIZER BRAND

A sales Specialist at Ferts, Seed and Grain has called on farmers to ensure they use the right fertilizer this farming season.

Luyando Mweemba says for a farmer to get a good yield there is need to apply good fertilizer.

The marketing specialist was speaking during the junior farmers agriculture show in Lusaka.

She said FSG is behind Superfert fertilizer and that it has in stock different fertilizers for different crops that a farmer can chose.

"This farming season we want to encourage farmers to try out our wide range of fertilizers according to what there growing.Let Superfert fertilizer be your number one household brand because it is of Superior quality as alot of farmers have arrested to that

"We want to invite farmers to visit our outlets and sample our different fertilizers for different crops,"she said.

Meanwhile Kabulonga Girls Secondary School won the first prize in the School Agri-Project Competition at the Show.

This was after beating ten other school contenders from within Lusaka.

The school had over three projects, and among the projects presented was the piggery business.

Twin Palm Secondary School won the consolation prize in second place, Libala Secondary School in third place, and Lekisha School in fourth place.

This year's Junior Agriculture show was organized by Innovare Ventures in partnership with the Agriculture and Commercial Show Society of Zambia (ACSZ) and sponsored by FSG Fertilizer Zambia, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), and the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ).
